✨ My First Camping Experience ⛺🌿

Today is the 24th day of my blog journey 📝✨, and also the final day of this series 💖

As I mentioned before, I sat for my second A/L exam in 2023 📚✨. After finishing the exams, my two friends and I decided to spend a camping night together ⛺🌙We chose Bandarawela Green Hill as our destination. 🌄💚On May 13, 2024 🌅, the three of us started our journey on two motorcycles. 🏍️

We began from Kuliyapitiya town 🏙️, traveled through Hatton 🌄, and reached Bogawantalawa town 🏞️Even though heavy rain 🌧️ tried to stop us midway, we continued without stopping 🚀💪At Bogawantalawa, we got permission from the police 👮 to camp, and purchased all the necessary tents and supplies ⛺✨We also bought food 🥪🥤 for our night from the town, and then headed to the Green Hill camping site 🌿

By around 7:30 PM, we reached our spot and set up our tent ⛺✨After changing into comfortable clothes 👕, we prepared our dinner 🍛🔥After dinner, we spent about an hour singing 🎶🎤 and having fun 🎉✨.The long journey made us tired 😴, so we quickly fell asleep.The next morning 🌅, we woke up to an incredible view 😍🌄

Sipping warm coffee ☕, we enjoyed the beautiful scenery with excitement 💖✨. At that moment, I realized how beautiful our country truly is 🌿🇱🇰

We had breakfast there 🍳, and then packed up to return home. 🏡After handing back the tents and other equipment ⛺, we started our journey back, feeling happy and fulfilled 😊💫

🌄 Awakening as a New Person.. 🌀🌟

Today is the 23rd day of my blog journey 📝✨

After facing my first A/L exam in 2021 📚, I didn’t achieve the results I hoped for 😔. So, in 2023, I decided to attempt the exam again 💪🔥During that period, I experienced a lot of stress 😣📖. I realized the need to free my mind 🧠✨ and attain some spiritual awakening 🕊️💖My friend also wanted the same kind of experience 🤝💫. After a long and meaningful conversation 💬, we decided to spend a few days at the Meemure Forest Monastery 🌿🙏

On the morning of June 10, 2024 🌅, we started our journey 🚶‍♂️✨. Traveling from Kurunegala 🏙️, through Kandy 🌄, and then to Padiyapellella, we finally reached Meemure by bus 🚌🌿By around 7:30 PM, we arrived at the monastery 🛕, where the head monk kindly welcomed us 🙏💖

After having dinner 🍛, we were exhausted from the journey and quickly fell asleep 😴✨The next morning 🌅, we woke up early and engaged in religious activities under the guidance of the monks 🛕🙏.Later, we joined them for meditation 🧘‍♂️✨

We spent 4 peaceful days there 🌿💫During that time, we learned many valuable life lessons 📖💖, and we could feel our positive energy slowly growing 🌱✨On the morning of the 5th day, we bid farewell to the head monk and the other monks 🙏💫, leaving with hearts full of happiness 💖 as we returned home 🏡

✨ The Final Prize Giving Ceremony 🏆🎓

Today is the 22nd day of my blog journey 📝✨

This moment happened during the final phase of my school life 🎓💭.I first joined my school in 2013, and I completed my journey in 2023 📚✨To be honest, during the early years of my school life, I wasn’t someone who showed much interest in anything 😅💭. But as time passed ⏳, something inside me started to change…

I began to feel deeply that I should do more, achieve more, and become better 💪🔥Every year, I watched the prize giving ceremonies 👀🏆. Out of so many students, only a few were recognized for their talents and achievements 🌟👏And every single time, I had one quiet thought in my heart 💭💖“One day, I want to stand on that stage too…” 🎤✨And somehow… I made it happen 🥹🏆

At the end of my school life, I finally achieved my goal 🎯✨.It became the first and also the last prize giving ceremony where I was recognized 🏆💖

  

                                 

Getting this opportunity during the final days of my school journey made it even more special and meaningful 🥹🎓✨

In life, we achieve many things and move towards different goals 🚶‍♂️💫. And I truly believe that moments like this give us the motivation to aim for even bigger achievements in the future 🚀✨

'✨ Getting Ready for University Life 🎓

Today is the 21th day of my blog journey 📝✨

After waiting for such a long time ⏳, I finally received that special message 📩💖.Yes… the university has officially called us to begin our academic journey 🎓✨Since there wasn’t much time to prepare ⏰😅, I quickly started getting everything ready. One of the main things I needed was new clothes 👕🛍️.So, I decided to visit Kurunegala Thilakawardana Textile 🏬✨ to buy what I needed. On March 21, 2026, in the morning 🌅, I left for Kurunegala city 🚌🏙️.

By around 10:20 AM, I reached my destination ⏰📍. Then, I started selecting the clothes I wanted 👗😊. Just as I expected, I was able to find and buy a few outfits that I really liked 🛍️💖.

After shopping, I had my lunch at a nearby restaurant 🍛🍹, and then headed to the Kurunegala bus stand 🚌. After waiting a little while ⏳, I caught a bus and returned home safely 🏡✨.

It truly felt like the beginning of a new chapter in my life 📖💫

My First Pilgrimage to Adam’s Peak 🙏🌄

How are you all? 💫

Today is the 20st day of my blog journey 📝✨

I first sat for my A/L examination in 2021 📚✨. After finishing the exams, my friends suggested something special  “Let’s go on a pilgrimage to Sri Pada” 🙏🌄.It was actually a long-time dream of mine 💭💖, so I happily agreed without a second thought 😊✨For this journey, 7 of us joined together 👯‍♂️💫.We started our trip by taking a train from Polgahawela Railway Station 🚆 to Hatton Railway Station 🏞️. After several hours of travel ⏳, we finally reached Hatton.

From there, we took a bus 🚌 and traveled to Nallathanniya, the starting point of our climb 🌿✨.After such a long journey, we were quite tired 😅, so we refreshed ourselves with a wash 🚿 and had lunch 🍛🍹. After a short rest 😌, we began our climb to Sri Pada (Adam’s Peak) 🌄🙏

We started the climb around 7:00 PM 🌙✨. Along the way, we stopped at a few places to rest and regain our energy 💪🌿

Finally, around 12:00 midnight, we reached the summit 🏔️✨

With deep devotion and a peaceful heart 💖🙏, we worshipped the sacred footprint of Lord Buddha 🕊️✨. It was truly a spiritual and unforgettable moment 🥹💫We rested for about an hour at the top 🏔️😌, enjoying the calm and sacred atmosphere 🌌✨.

After that, we began our descent ⬇️🌄, and by around 5:30 AM, we reached back to Nallathanniya 🌅✨. We had our breakfast 🍞☕ and then took a bus back to Hatton 🚌.From Hatton, we returned by train 🚆 to Polgahawela Railway Station, completing our beautiful journey 💫✨With hearts full of joy and unforgettable memories 💖🥹, I said goodbye to my friends and returned home 🏡✨

✨ A New Little Guest 🐄💖

Today is the 19th day of my blog journey 📝✨

For the past few days, I’ve been feeling a bit mentally stressed due to a busy schedule 😔💭. So, I decided to take a small break and change my surroundings for a while 🌿✨.That’s why I went to my grandmother’s house 🏡💖.Honestly, it’s such a beautiful village 🌾🌸 — surrounded by green paddy fields, a small school, a preschool, and even a peaceful temple 🏫🌳🛕.Since it’s not a city area, the whole village feels so calm, quiet, and relaxing 😌🍃.

Whenever I go there, I have a little habit. 🚶‍♀️✨ I love walking around the village and enjoying the nature.On this particular day, while I was walking around 🌿👣, I passed by a house where they raise cows 🐄🏡. And then… I saw something truly special 😍✨A cow had given birth to a newborn calf just a few hours earlier 🐄👶💖

It was actually the first time in my life seeing a newborn calf in real life 🥹✨. The little one was trying to stand up, stumbling and getting up again 🐾💫, slowly getting used to this brand new world 🌍💖.I stood there quietly, watching with so much happiness and curiosity 😍🌿.After running around a bit and getting tired, the little calf lay down to rest 😴🐄. And of course… I didn’t forget to capture that beautiful moment 📸✨

✨ Preparing for the Practical Exam 🎭📚

How are you all? 💫

Today is the 18th day of my blog journey 📝✨

While I was busy preparing for university after receiving the admission message 🎓💖, I received a warm and friendly invitation from a teacher I know from school 👩‍🏫✨.She kindly asked me to help prepare her students for their A/L Drama & Theatre practical exam 🎭📚.With great happiness and willingness 😍, I accepted her invitation and went to meet her 🤝✨.

After a few days of practice and dedication ⏳💪, we finally reached our last training day, which was on March 11, 2026 📅✨.All the students listened to me with so much interest and enthusiasm 👀💖. Not only that, they practiced everything sincerely and improved beautifully 🌟👏.The training sessions were filled with fun, energy, and passion 🎭🔥.At times, I had to be a little strict and emotional for their own success 😌💭… but they never got upset with me ❤️✨.

In fact, their smiles and energy clearly showed how much they enjoyed the whole experience 😊📸

     

                                                      

By March 14, 2026, they were fully prepared to face their practical exam with confidence 💪🎯✨.On our final day together, they said goodbye to me with so many beautiful memories 💖🥹. Wishing them all the very best for their future 🌸✨, I said goodbye and returned home 🏡💫.

It was truly a meaningful and unforgettable experience for me 💭💖

✨ The Bittersweet Moments in a Fuel Queue ⛽

Today is the 17th day of my blog journey 📝✨

As we all know, there is a lot happening in the world right now 🌍⚠️. Due to global issues, our country is also facing indirect impacts, especially because we don’t have our own fuel resources 🚢⛽.

Because of this, a fuel shortage has once again become a reality in our country 😔. Fuel queues are not something new to us, but honestly… no one wants to experience them again in Sri Lanka 💔.Even though I didn’t like it, I had to wait in a fuel queue to get fuel ⛽😅.On March 16, 2026, around 4:30 PM, I joined the end of a very long queue 🕓🚶‍♂️. The line stretched all the way near a clock tower in the distance 🕰️😮.

Since I had to spend a long time there, I started talking with the people around me 🗣️😊. Surprisingly, those small conversations made the waiting time feel much shorter 💬✨.

By around 7:15 PM, I finally reached the front of the queue ⏳🙌. After getting my fuel quota, I said goodbye to the people behind me 👋🙂 and headed back home 🏡💫.Even in difficult situations, small moments like friendly conversations can bring a little happiness 💖✨

✨ A Fun Cinematic Experience 🎬

Today is the 16th day of my blog journey 📝💫

You might remember that in my 12th blog, I shared the most painful cinema experience I’ve ever had 😔🎭. After that day, I honestly thought I would never step into a cinema hall again 🚫🎥.But today… things were different! 😄

I went to another cinema hall in my town 🏙️🎬. This time, it was a big family outing ❤️👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 — my aunt’s family, my little aunt’s family, and my own family. Altogether, we were 11 people! 😍We arrived early ⏰, so we got the perfect seats without any hassle 🪑👌 and enjoyed the movie comfortably.Today, we watched “Dharma yuddhaya” 🎥🔥.It was a beautiful movie about a strong and intelligent father who does everything to protect his family 💪👨‍👧‍👦❤️.

The movie lasted more than 2 hours and 30 minutes ⏳, but we watched it without any discomfort at all 😌✨.

After the movie ended, we all walked out of the cinema hall feeling so happy and satisfied 😊🎉, and headed back home with joyful hearts 🏡💖.

A Beautiful and Emotional Stage Drama Experience 🎭✨

How are you all?

Today is the 15th day of my blog ✍️📖.

Drama and Performing Arts is our subject, and we all love watching stage dramas. 🎭 After a long time without watching a play, I decided that I really wanted to experience a stage drama again.Then I saw that there was a Drama Week at the University of Kelaniya 🎭🏫. Among several dramas, I chose to watch the play “Araro”, which was performed on March 5th, 2026.I invited one of my friend to join me for this trip. 👯‍♀️ We traveled by train from Madampe Railway Station to Kelaniya Railway Station 🚆. It was a very joyful and fun journey.

We arrived at the University of Kelaniya right on time and bought our tickets to watch the drama. 🎟️ Unfortunately, photography was not allowed during the performance, so I couldn’t take pictures to show you. I’m sorry about that. 📵

The drama was very beautiful and emotional. It told the story of a wife who lives with deep sadness because she cannot have children, and the conflicts that arise between the husband and wife because of this situation. 💔 It was a touching story that showed the emotional struggles within a marriage.

The happiest part for me was that my close sister-like friend, Sanduni Nawanjana, played the main character in the drama. 🌟👏After the drama ended, we didn’t forget to take a photo together with her 📸😊. After saying goodbye to her, we happily started our journey back home. 🚆🏡

It was truly a memorable and meaningful experience for me. ❤️✨
