A Long-Awaited Family Pilgrimage 🙏🚍

How are you all?

Today is the 13th day of my blog ✍️📖.

After a long time, our whole family decided to go on a pilgrimage together. 🙏 On 28th February 2026, around 7.00 AM, we started our journey to Anuradhapura by bus. 🚍🌄 In total, 21 family members joined our trip, which made it even more special. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦❤️

First, we visited Haththikuchchi Rajamaha Viharaya in the Kurunegala District. 🛕✨ After worshipping there, we had our breakfast 🍞☕ and then continued our journey.

Around 2.00 PM, we arrived at the holiday resort where we stayed. 🏡 After having lunch 🍛 and getting refreshed 🚿, we went to visit Isurumuniya Temple 🛕 and later Ranaviru Seya as well. 

                                                      

                                              

After a busy and meaningful day, we returned to our accommodation, had dinner 🍽️, and went to sleep. 😴🌙On March 1st, we woke up very early at 3.00 AM ⏰. I helped cook milk rice 🍚🥥 to offer at Ruwanwelisaya.At 6.00 AM, we worshipped the Sri Maha Bodhi 🌳🙏. After that, we went to Ruwanwelisaya and offered the Kiribath and Atapirikara we had prepared. 🛕✨ It was a very peaceful and spiritual moment for all of us. 💫🙏                                                   

              

                                                       

Then we returned to our accommodation and had our breakfast ☕🍞. Around 11.00 AM, we started our journey back home.On the way, we refreshed ourselves by bathing in Tissa Wewa 🌊😄. Later, we stopped near Moragahakanda Reservoir 🌅 and had our lunch 🍛.After that, we spent time singing songs 🎶, dancing 💃, laughing 😂, and enjoying together until evening. Finally, we returned home happily. 🚍🏡

Those two days were truly beautiful and memorable for me. ❤️✨
